Today: 3:30 on ABC...Fairfield plays Nevada for the championship
of the United States. They beat Nevada a few days ago...I think both
squads can go with their ace pitcher....i.e. he can throw a lot of pitches within
their pitch count rules.
No more double elimination games....this one game is for the USA ring.
2 international games play for that title at 1:00.
Winners to meet tomorrow for world title....perhaps having to go without
their ace.
I've seen a bit of Fairfield...they are very good defensively...especially
up the middle....catcher/second base/shortstop/centerfielder.
