Little Help? List of Longest Consecutive FF Appearances

Somehow, I can't find the list of longest consecutive appearances in the Final Four. I know that UConn is now up to a decade in a row (Crystal Dangerfield was in 4th grade when the consecutive FF streak began!). But somehow I can't find the list of other long FF appearances.

Can someone help out with that? I'm curious who had other (relatively) long streaks. I know that Notre Dame had five in a row, which, I believe matched the record at the time.

And no one has an active streak longer than one right now. Correct?

So for anyone to break Connecticut's current record of ten consecutive final fours, it would take until 2027 to do so. And that supposes that one of the other three- Stanford, South Carolina, or Mississippi State- goes to the FF each year from here on out. Otherwise, for anyone else it would take until at least 2028.

Can you imagine how incredible that record is? And that even if a team began this year, it would take until late in the next decade to surpass?

Of course, Katie Lou's opinion of this should hold some weight. When Coach Geno was pacing the sideline at the end of the game, and said to his team that this is amazing, ten straight years of going to the Final Four, Lou said to him, "You suck!"

With this FF appearance, UConn ties the overall Division I record of the UCLA men from 1967-76 (which barring a catastrophe they will break next season).

The Bruins also went to the FF in 1962 and won titles in 1964 and 1965. They didn't go in 1966, but from what I've heard, they may have had the best team in the West region (regionals back then were strictly geographic) that year on campus with the Lew Alcindor led-UCLA freshman team; freshmen were ineligible for varsity play in those years. They regularly beat the varsity (which did make the tournament). Otherwise, it could have been 13 in a row and 14 out of 15.

Easy to look up and no surprises there.

Maybe wouldn't get the order (and I don't follow MBB) but not surprised to see - Kentucky, North Carolina, Duke, UCLA and Kansas. I'm not really sure of the exact order because the listing I saw included "vacated" wins for Kentucky and UCLA. Interestingly, Kentucky, North Carolina and Kansas lead in losses as well, although they have roughly 70% winning percentages.

Duke has the highest winning percentage on the men's side, followed by North Carolina.

Fascinating, but not enough to get me "into" the tourney.
