So what do people expect. Just Ross and Stew at the 3? Or do we play Ball and Mahaney together?

I hope Nowell get 8-10 to spell Hass

Any chance we play Ak with Ross and SJ?

The biggest thing is Nowell’s minutes. Hurley said in the presser that, with the Liam injury, this could be Nowell’s time to earn minutes. I also want to see a more consistent rotation between Samson and Tarris. In other words, I want Tarris to have more minutes.

Seems likely more Ross on defensive switches, more Stewart on offensive switches. Both should get close to 20 minutes.

I would not be shocked to see:
1. Diarra and Nowell at the same time
2. Nowell and Mahaney at the same time
3. Johnson and Reed, Jr. at the same time

See the excellent post on the Providence scouting report.

A lot of people have pushed for Nowell for a long time here with the idea that he is a better option than Mahaney. We may find out pretty soon.

I think will be Ross but I’d rather see Stewie

Missed the game in person today as I was in Philly for a funeral. I heard the game on the radio on the way back and they mentioned that Nowell's shoulder is still bothering him and he is close to coming back.

My condolences.

The infatuation with Ross because of his supposed defensive abilities is completes negated by him being completely unplayable on halfcourt offense.
He is still a change of pace bench player who brings energy 12-15 mpg.
When Johnson is on the floor that is already one olayer who can't do anything on his own. Put Ross in there and the defense.can completely slack off two Huskies.

Based on Hurleys post game presser, it sounds like Aiden may start in place of Ross next time. He said they were debating between Ross and AM. I wonder why Stewart not in consideration.

Everything is said for a purpose. I get each game's flow is a bit different but I will be interested to see who comes off the bench first, Ross or Stewart.

Could be seeing Nowell more when we need more speed and defense vs Mahaney. He did look good today on offense but we were playing a wounded Providence at our home. Trusting in the coaches to work this stuff out getting both ready for roles down the stretch.
