1. Polley. Comes of age Wednesday. Gone for the season in Friday. SIGH.
2. Welcome to the big time, Mister Wilson. Sid responded well to being pressed into service in a less than ideal scenario, after seeing his minutes dwindle to pretty much nothing.
3. We actually outrebounded them, albeit by a narrow, 2 board margin.
4. 9 assists on 26 made baskets is not a good stat.
5. Bouk had some bonehead plays, and some outstanding plays. He more or less owned the first OT.
6. AG was plum worn out by half way through that first OT. Still, there was that pass to Sid.
7. Our 3 point shooting was hideous. Adams, Bouk and Akok combined to go 0 for 7 from deep. Take away their tries and we're a semi-respectable 5 for 12. I know I've said this before, but weren't we led to believe that 3 point shooting was one of Akok's strengths? He's 2 of 11 in the last 5 games. That's not a strength.
8. With 5 boards, 5 steals, 25 points and only 2 TOs, Vital was big time. Except for that 1 of 5 from deep.
9. Carlton, too had a very good game. Except his FT shooting.
10. There were some truly awful calls. The ones against us seemed particularly bad, but there were as many bad calls in our favor, so not really a huge factor.
11. We pressed as well or better than I've seen us press in a long time.
12. The loss is heart wrenching, but I came away feeling proud of our guys.
13. When did Lapas start to sound so much like Dukie V?
