Minnesota Lynx guard Lindsay Whalen out indefinitely after surgery on left hand

Fracture in Left Hand. Big Loss for Lynx.

Pinky finger on her off hand.

Whalen broke 2 metacarpal bones on her right hand in February of her senior year at Univ of Minnesota. UConn fans remember well what she did the following March and April. She's as tough as they come.

Lindsay is a Badass hockey player, so she'll do all she can.

Lindsay--vs --DT , Uconn vs Minn is among my top 3 best games for Uconn (this fan). To me it was punch/counter punch Dt to Lindsay.
What amazed me was: She was so out of control, so fundamentally incorrect, and yet scored or delivered the proper pass to her post or 3 ball shooter. She still plays that way--
