A good effort by the guys. Again we did some good things. The D improved a lot. Doomed by the same mistakes on offense that always pop up, though a little less often. Is losing a close game at home to a mediocre Michigan team enough to change any minds (like mine) that the time for evaluation has long since past?

There's no crying in baseball, or second place in football, but Pasqualoni was already gone at year end. If there's any moral +, UCONN's effort and Connecticut alumni, students and most, not all, Huskies' fans in attendance created a positive conference realignment impression for Michigan's President, AD, and others tuning in nationally.
