“More playmaking, I think,” Hurley said. “You saw how much success we've had the last couple of years when we get our taller perimeter players using zooms, using ball screens, getting the ball to the paint, throwing those lobs to our finishers, Samson [Johnson] and Tarris, and then being to also see the 3-point line. I see him on the ball a lot more, creating offense for himself at the rim, for our rollers and, having that 6-7 size, also spraying it out to the 3-point line. So I think you're going to see assists numbers and higher usage on-ball with him.”

Karaban has been at UConn four seasons, three as a player. Already, though, there’s chemistry between him and McNeeley.
