Lexi Bando returns for Oregon

After missing 7 games, she's back. She didn't start, but entered the game late in Q1. Immediately nailed a 3. That should make Duck fans happy.

John Stockton is in the house in Pullman today.

UO leading Washington St. 26-20 after 1Q. Ducks frontcourt players can't miss. Looks like a repeat of Friday night. Ionescu with no aggressiveness on offense again. Hebard is about to hit 1000 points for her career. Ionescu is close too but she's scoreless so far today.


Bando is 3-3 behind the arc. Ducks now up 34-20.

This is unreal! Oregon is 18-20 from the field, 14 assists, up 40-27. Wazzu's D is leaving a lot to be desired, but that is just ridiculous shooting. Halfway thru Q2.

48-34 halftime. Oregon shooting 20-25 from the floor. WSU isn't bad either, 13-25. If you like offense, this game is for you. Ionescu only has 2 points but 9 assists already! Hebard needed 16 points to reach the 1000 point mark and she got that in the first half.

This is another game w/ only 1 commentator (seems to happen a lot w/ Wazzu). It works. You really don't need 2 and definitely don't need 3. No pointless rambling. Just letting you know what's going on in the game.

The commentator said Ionescu is going to get to meet Stockton after the game. I think she got to meet Vandersloot after Friday's game. Not a bad weekend.

I'm off to see the Washington-Oregon St, game, so no 2nd half updates from me. Ionescu is 9 points away from 1000, but she might not do it today. How crazy would it be for 2 classmates to both hit 1000 in the same game? How classes have produced 2 2000 point scorers?

Looks like Ionescu got her 1000th point in the second half. 2 sophomore teammates both doing it in the same game, that's pretty impressive.

So...over the weekend Hebard scored 59 points on 25-27 FG. Are...you...freaking...kidding me?! I don't think even NaPheesa's put together a 2 game stretch like that has she? Unbelievable. Also grabbed a combined 23 rebounds. Not bad, not bad.

Ducks won, but it looks like the Cougs kept it interesting. Stanford and UCLA also won today, so it's still a 3 way tie atop the conference standings.

OK, this is ridiculous. Hristova from Wazzu also recorded her 1000th career point in this game. 3 players all hit 1000 career points during the same game, has that ever happened before? All 3 are sophomores also.

And apparently Gulich got career point 1000 in Pullman on Friday. 4 players hit the mark on the same court over the weekend. Something in the water there?
