If you read the various "who should be starting next year" threads, it is immediately apparent that BYers think there should be 8-9 starters who should get 25+ minutes a game, even though the total possible minutes per team per game is capped at 200 (assuming no OT). Instead of trying to reconcile that math (good luck) lets approach it from the opposite end. Who doesn't get minutes or gets very few?
KK - 25 min/game
Azzi - 30
Ash - 25
Sarah S - 30
Serah W - 25
Blanca - 15
Jana - 15
Ice - 10
Allie - 7.5
Morgan - 7.5
Kelis - 2.5
Ayanna and Gandy ~0 ish
The game is: if you want to give a player more minutes, you have to designate who is going to lose a corresponding amount so that the total always comes out to 200. For example, if you think Blanca should get 20 minutes a game and not 15, where are those other 5 coming from?
Assume no injuries (we all know that can change this equation instantly), just who gets minutes and who doesn't with a healthy team.
