Its true that the national media has not really picked up on this. Its just a shame because theres people looking at this from the outside and thinking that Boatright did something wrong. If people looked into this more they would realize that it is BS and unfair. If ESPN or even CNN picked up on this because it actually goes beyond just sports, Boatright would literally be cleared in "20 minutes".

I understand why Calhoun and Herbst don't speak up first. I am sure they feel that would only make matters worse in the short term and they are correct. I also don't' find the situation analogous to that at Penn State, why drag that into it? It would be nice for this to gain some momentum to the point that something was fundamentally changed at the NCAA. This has really gotten ridiculous. Of course they would never allow it unless legally compelled to do so but something akin to an Internal Affairs department is needed in the NCAA. Where the author is most on the mark is in his call for some kind of checks and balances here.
