You may be wrong and like most ADs he want to fill the ranks with "his" people. So everybody has to go. I always felt something was "amiss" with Meier's sudden decision to "retire". So either he wants to upgrade every coaching position (as he sees it) and is very results oriented or he just wants total control over the athletics department regardless of success. We shall see.
