Is defense bad, yes! Is rebounding bad, yes! Is the chemistry bad, yes! Yes, Yes, Yes….you think the kids and coaches don’t realize it? Time to have the back of a team and coaches who just have us back to back National Championships. Our team is struggling a little, let’s get on board and encourage!

They stink right now but with what this program has given us for two consecutive years i simply am not entitled enough to complain. Ill continue to support coach and the boys.

At 86, there's not a lot else to get me through the winter. It's clear that most of us, including the coaching staff, were living in a fantasy world from the time we raised the second cup to Maui. We just stopped seeing reality. Not only did we think our starting five was 3-peat caliber, we thought our second five was Top 25. Pure delusion. It all starts over again now. The upside is that expectations are in the basement, and every win is going to be sweet to the taste.

Titus had a good take on this. Said prior to the 2 nattys Hurley lead a culture of grinding and “get us now”. That morphed into defending the titles and 2 time defending champ parade he’s been on, and that we deserve respect. When this is an entirely different team that didn’t win anything. With a bottom out, nows a chance to kick that tiresome over the top tagline and revert back to what got him here.

Titus’ take on this was not good. Nothing has changed in the program except what happens at every program. When you win back to back you lose talent and sometimes that leads to a transition year. You’re thinking way too deep about it

You can call me the Jack Handey.

Not sure I’ve ever seen any coach come off of a championship like Hurley just did. Like not even close. So I’d call this more than just a transition year in terms of the narrative. On a super basic level, yeah a transition year.

But who actually cares? You’re falling for the media creating a narrative for clicks. Hurleys messaging is not an actual issue.

Apparently our loss of last years talent is not replaced with our younger players as easy as most thought here. Me included.
 
Coach Karaban again tomorrow. The crowd will be hugely important if we are gonna pull this out without cap

Defense feeds on atmosphere...you want D... you get loud
