And following a legend is not "basically impossible" .... Bill Walsh was a bad example... I think George Siefert won a Super Bowl in the immediate wake of Walsh's departure..... Legends are hard to follow largely because athletic departments get sentimental and want to reward loyalty instead of mounting a full scale search for the best person.... that is how you get a Craig Esherick or Bruiser Flint.... Pat was great in her time, yet not worthy of sainthood to the degree they say in the Volunteer State. [/QUOTE]
