Y'know, sometimes it's just a real pleasure to watch Diana Taurasi handle the ball.

After watching this clip, if I'm a top 50 high school recruit with boundless dreams, and I see the greatest collection of women's basketball players in the world training for the Olympics at UConn, led by the greatest coach in WCBB history (from UConn), beneath the unmatched panoramic backdrop of 10 glorious UConn National Championship banners... UConn's the place I'd want to be.

I realize that this is a highlight clip, but boy, the ladies sure look smooth.

I feel bad for the male practice players. It appears they are playing with verbal handcuffs. Maybe we should call them the Connecticut Generals.

After watching this clip, if I'm a top 50 high school recruit with boundless dreams, and I see the greatest collection of women's basketball players in the world training for the Olympics at UConn, led by the greatest coach in WCBB history (from UConn), beneath the unmatched panoramic backdrop of 10 glorious UConn National Championship banners... UConn's the place I'd want to be.

We have become accustomed to all ten NC banners on one wall. On another (along sideline), all the NPOY's and AA's (same names as Hall of Honor in Gampel).

I believe I caught a peek at a new addition: names of Olympians, near NPOY''s. The reason it caught my eye was that Asja Jones was one of the names. For all of her greatness, she never won NPOY or had her jersey displayed on the Gampel wall.

Am I correct? Or delusional?

I am pretty sure you are delusional in terms of anything readable on any banners - the only thing I saw and i went through the all the video a couple of times with the pause button after reading your post is that their are a few banners above the coaches windows on the opposite wall from the NC banners - One of these has an Olympic rings logo prominent and I think four lines of large text below, but I couldn't read what it said and that would be two few lines for Uconn Olympians - next to that there is also a banner with a Husky logo but I didn't see any writing on it. There are definitely not any new non- AA/non-NPOY banners on the player wall.

I took a tour of the Center a couple of weeks ago. Have pictures of the player's wall and the Championship wall, but not the third wall. I remember noting the Olympic banners but don't recall if there were names there.

Kib, you are not delusional, on one wall there are banners of all Olympic Gold Medal winners. I grabbed a screen capture from the new Huskies All Access. It's a little blurry, but you can still make it out.
