The 2013 tournament ban because of APR was the most ridiculous thing in the history of UConn basketball. If we never got banned from the tournament that year, the APR would probably never be discussed or reported by the horde every year, and most of us would probably have no idea what it even is. We will never be in danger of getting a tournament ban because of APR ever again. The only thing that came out of that fiasco was that we learned how to game the system just like 99.8% of the other D1 schools.

APR sticking around for a while as the NCAA is going to start paying schools that maintain an average of 985 across all sports.

There really isn't even a system to game. There are like 2 criteria. You can just about report anything you like, and it is designed that way.

Never forget the PR in APR.

The MBB score is from 17 to 18. Its all Coach Ollie. I know 18 to 19 will not be perfect and the final score is TBD. The brass was worry. They had to call a player who was hanging in California back in case it was going to be a disaster

And he was coach from 18-19 so I give him credit for 500 of our 1000 APR
The 17-18 year= Ollie
18-19 year = Hurley

We will not have a perfect APR for this season thanks to Kwintin Williams which isn’t really Hurley’s fault anyways.

Much like this whole thread and the idea of APR, I'm joking. I'm not worried about Kwintin, we'll report a perfect APR the same as every other school

If he gets his degree it won't effect UConn's APR score in the future.

Williams is still at UConn and said he’ll walk during graduation ceremonies on May 11 with a degree in urban and community studies — though he may have to take another class or two over the summer.

“It was a tough semester, but I’m gonna finish up strong,” Williams promised.
