Last time UConn didn't play a single game at MSG?

So when was the last time UConn didn't play a single game at MSG? Before the formation of the Big East?

I believe that last time we didn't play at MSG was 1982. I could be wrong

I'd say '82. They did play the Johnnies but im betting it was at Carnesecca

If UConn makes it to the semifinals, they will keep a long streak going. If they fall short, they will play a full season without a game in Madison Square Garden for the first time in over 30 years.

83 BET was in Syracuse I believe, so probably no MSG that year. Was 84 in Prov?? Don't think moved to MSG until 85, but I'm guessing.

80 was in Providence, 81 in Syracuse & 82 in Hartford. They then went to MSG.

This is the first year under Warde Manuel we haven't played at MSG. We have Maryland there next year.

I hope we play once a year there. Also play games in Barclay, but never again in the IZOD (which I think they're tearing down anyway)
