I was at this game and it was arguably the worst sporting event ever staged. Fortunately I got free tickets and walking in a guy had a handful tickets he was shouting " get you $5 foot long here."

Train was great though.

Actually I should add, game imploded after that crazy play where Clemson fumbled on the goal line and WVU returned it back.

going to miss WVU in our conference, Joe D made a great point on his show today, people were all over Uconn's loss to Oklahoma last year, but no one is giving Clemson, the ACC champ anything near as much as what they gave Uconn and the BE last year and they lost by a larger margin than we did.

Gosh, an 8-5 team that was about 40th and the worst in BCS history gets more than a top 15 team?

Must be bias.

I can assure you that all the sports radio folks in my part of Florida were destroying Clemson and the ACC and several of them suggested yanking the ACC's autobid.

You aren't seeing as much of that in Ct. because there's no Uconn in the storyline.

It's also a little telling that not too many Acc boards seem to care that much either. They will give the obligatory "Acc sucks" comment or two, but they really don't care that much. I don't think the average Acc fan is that invested in Acc football. I'm sure they enjoy this a lot more in SEC country. If they care, either.

The ACC is now 2-13 in BCS bowls. They don't get killed enough nationally for that. If it was the Big East you would never hear the end of it.

98% of ACC fans that aren't Clemson alumni were more upset about the hit the conference's rep took from dook losing to Temple than they were about some pesky football game played in SEC country.
