This is a pretty amazing statistic. Over the past five NFL drafts, UConn has had 16 players drafted and BC has had 5. Clearly, BC has had coaching turmoil during this time period, but they went to the ACC and they recruited "better" players according to Rivals rankings (see below). It does point to BC has stopped developing players that go there. In other words, bad coaching. UConn's strength has been developing players. (It also points to a potential bias in Rivals ratings in favor of BC over UConn!) Developing players is crucial to Northeastern football programs as the local players are not as fully developed as Southern players.
