Right now 13-14 (4-10) and 4 regular season games left

2/28 @ WSU
3/03 vs USF
3/07 vs Temple
3/10 @ ECU

We’ve underperformed massivly compared to expectations during conference play. Part of it was injuries. We can still finish the season strong and get an ok record.
Some goals could be
- Win 1 road game
- Win 2 games
-Win 1 tourney game
- No returning players get hurt
- Finish with a NET in the 80’s
(Current NET is 97)
Our team is not that good and I don’t really want us to beat Temple all that much bc that would ruin the chance of a 4 bid league this year.

Whatever we do let's not finish below ECU, so let's not lose to Temple so they can get a bid. If Temple deserves a bid they will get one, we need to win as many games as we are capable of & a .500 record or better would be nice.

All 4 games are winnable so let's go at least 3-1 and go into AAC tourney with a little bit of hope.

Honestly, we have a shot in all 4 games; the two best teams we play at home where we play much better. I'll guess we go 2-2, although I wouldn't be surprised if we go 3-1 or 1-3.

Preseason, I hoped we'd finish above .500. I thought our ceiling was 18-14.

16-15 would satisfy my preseason expectations, and I'd be good with that.

I’m appalled that the mountaintop most are shooting for is the NIT. We are the UCONN Huskies. Nothing less than a run through the AAC Tournament to secure an NCAA berth followed by a tourney run beating Duke to title #5. Nothing less is acceptable.

This is great and all, but you really do have to look at the personnel. MakersMuppet had the advantage of betting on some high end, experienced talent, including what might have been the best guard in the country. Shabazz ain't walking through that door.
