Well, that's awesome. Would be a HUGE pickup.

Wow, that would be a game changer. Really wanted him out of high school

He would be perfect, great player and balances out the roster. Make it happen, KO!

Regular transfers are exactly what we need right now. Don't see anybody else currently available being able to contribute this year, but we are going to need bodies for the 2016 year, and rather fill a couple of those schollies with transfers than freshmen.

he comes in here and replaces hamilton who is most likely lottery bound in the 2016 draft. gets all the minutes he wants and sees a guy who plays the same position get drafted after two years. Its probably a big selling pitch, how KO's let daniel feel his way on the court; specifically not pigeonholing him into something he's not.

Its been good news almost every day this week. Hope it continues tomorrow with Diarra and whenever Larrier decides (which apparently is going to be soon). Then just wait until King visits.

Just want to point out that @CallMeBruce informed us all about Larrier's upcoming visit last week. This is on the heels of him being 100% right about everything that happened with Gibbs.

So we all know which BoneYarder has good sources these days.

Maryland scares me here. Perhaps the situations are not at all analogous but we seemed to have a clear lead for Stone and they turned him. It doesn't appear we even start this one out with the same edge. This would be an ideally-timed pickup. How nice would it be to get he and Diarra signed up? Nice momentum for the rest of this recruiting class.

I never really thought about it, but Ollie traveled around the NBA a lot, having to adjust to new things...this must be a good selling point for those transfer students...or maybe not, just a thought.

If he closes Larrier, we'll be looking for some sort of explanation. Either they drastically improved one or more aspects of their recruiting, or there's something particularly appealing about our program to transfers. Or maybe we just got unlucky for a while and now we're lucky again.

I'd love to take credit for this, but there were a couple of other folks on here who had this and just can keep their mouths shut.

As it stands right now, we only have 2 scholarships remaining for 2015, and 6 for 2016 (2 open + Gibbs, Miller, Nolan & Calhoun leaving). If Larrier commits, he counts toward 2015, so we'd have one left for 2015. If Diarra commits tomorrow, he counts toward 2016, and we'd have 2 schollies remaining for 2015, and 5 for 2016.

Thanks, it looks like we are in good shape.
