I thought I heard it too...but wasn't sure since the other announcers had no unusual reaction to it. Figured I must have misheard him...or they just covered for him very well!

They were both silent for a moment right after he said it. Almost like," Oh crap, what do we do now?".

And it sure didn't sound like "thumped" to me.

I gotta be honest; i just listed to it again, about 5 times, and Im pretty sure he did indeed drop bomb.

I'm not saying you altered the clip, but what you heard and I heard from my Direct TV feed were 2 different versions. Perhaps some carriers can alter words now instead of simply bleeping them?

Providers do not edit feeds, that is something that I promise you. Any editing is done by the broadcaster. What DirectTV carries is the same exact thing that Cox, Time Warner, Xfinity, ect carries. No difference at all. What you heard out of your TV, is the same thing that I heard out of mine. And by default, is the same thing that you heard in that YouTube clip.
