Anyone who chimes in with some version of "good" should be required to tell us where that 18 ppg is going to come from next year.

Congrats to Jeremy on following his dream. He will go down as a UConn great, what he did his freshman year was unreal, he was clearly the second best player on a championship squad.

Good for him. :p

FWIW I think you will see incremental increases from a number of spots. The big loss will be the length on defense especially if Drummond leaves.

congrats, I'm all for getting our NBA representation up because its being held together by Rudy, Ray, Caron and some duct tape(although I expect Kemba to be great). Can't wait to watch him next year and hear announcers talk about him continuing on the UConn wing tradition.

Could be a fun reunion if he falls to the Bobcats (though that will mean Charlotte's ping pong balls REALLY bounced the wrong way), but wherever he falls I'll be a fan. Thanks for the memories...

Goodluck to lambchops! The more the better in the NBA from UConn, he will develope into a nice 2g in the league. Every pg in the NBA can drive and kick, Lamb will get his open shots and he has the lenght at that position to excell in the longrun.

I'm not as worried about scoring next year as other are I guess. I can see the storm of a great attacking and shooting backcourt in the making. I think Boat/Bazz/Omar will get us 45 a night. Our 3 spot of Gif/Scoe/DD for 10+ a night and our big are a wait and see but I expect 10ish from Olander and crew on garbage pickup(Boone style) and a few Olander pick and pops from the fould line atleast.

I'd love to see him on the cavs. They have multiple picks in a deep draft and could be a pretty good young team moving forward. The worst the bobcats can do is the 4th pick i believe and i dont think he goes that high.

That's the team I want to see him go to the most, he gets to play with Kyrie and Byron Scott is going to demand that he plays D to get on the court. The Cavs need wing scoring in the worst way so I can see them looking at him, Beal, & Barnes the most.

Per the official release, "Lamb becomes the 14th UConn player under Calhoun to leave school early to enter the NBA Draft. All but one of the previous 13 were drafted in the first round. ".

Who left early and did not get drafted in round one? Is it AJ Price since he only played three years at Uconn?

In a matter of 3 years, J Lamb went from coming off the bench in high school to a first round NBA draft pick. Not bad.
Not bad at all......Congrats Jeremy and best of luck......looking fwd to watching a solid career in the nba and hope to see you back at storrs in the summer!!!!!

Just found it as well...Khalid. Looking back I remember how shocked I was that he lasted until the 2nd round, but he only played 50 games in the NBA. So I suppose they know better than me.
What was most shocking is how he played a good chunk of the season, seemed to be doing fine, then was let go and never surfaced again. Never understood that.

didn't know this The 6-foot-5 Lamb became just the sixth sophomore in UConn history to score 1,000 career points.
