Great article...just hope he doesn't spend too much time in AK hanging out because we're gonna need him to get to Storrs to start honing his skills and meshing with his new basketball family. Hope his mom is ok, maybe he can somehow get her to move from Yukon Country to Uconn Country...though it sounds like they may not be so well off so it would be tough.

Kid has played 1 year of basketball. Imagine the 30 for 30 on this kid if he turns out to be a player...

At best he's an insanely athletic pf who snags and puts back every board available, and stretches the floor from 3.

At worst he has a world class dunk or two per season and uconn gets free PR. Win win situation

He must be an absolutely remarkable athlete, because I don't know how you compete at this level having played that little. He is going to be very raw.

I thought the article was odd in spots. The kid's mother has cancer in Alaska so he decided to make a new start in Tucson?

What happened with his mother, why would he leave if she was battling cancer? Did she pass, did she beat it?

Definitely interested in seeing all these new kids
