That's what happens when the culture at a given program is broken. Hurley's got his hands full rebuilding it, but IMO is doing well so far.

One of my biggest gripes with Hurley is his lack of recruits with proven pool dive verticality.

One gripe I have with Hurley is his enamorment with Yakwe over Whaley. I think Whaley is extremely underutilized. I’d expect 5 or so boards and 2-3 blocks from him tonight if Yakwe is out.

Yeah it’s so confusing to me. I understand the difference in bulk but Whaley is much better IMHO.

Whaley just doesn’t offer any offensive abilities other than a ORB every now and again. He’s long and does okayy in the post on D, but he has to be in perfect position.

You're not alone in your opinion but I just don't see it with him

He’s not the most skilled but Yakwe isn’t exactly either...

I think Whaley is a much better defensive rebounder than Yakwe which is a weakness of ours as a team. Him and Cobb could pair well.
