"Kuran Iverson picked up exactly where he'd left off at the NBPA Top 100 Camp. The 6-foot-8 small forward was making plays off the dribble, hitting some shots and doing a little bit of everything. Right now he's looking like a potential five-star prospect and he listed Florida, Memphis, Connecticut,Oklahoma State and Seton Hall." Nothing about UK or SU... Definitely nice to see him realize that he may not be getting that offer from Coach Cal after all

Last winter he was begging for a uk offer.. family is from ct, hope we get him. Odd that some of the other top schools have passed like SU and unc

99, Kuran is also from CT. not just his family. I really want us to lock him down, he is a tremendous talent. Kahari Beaufort is his best friend and we are also recruiting him.

Some of my coworker kids go to school with him and say he is very nice

I guess Cal doesn't think this kid is going to be much of a player if he hasn't offered. Interesting, because I was listening to the B.S. report a couple weeks ago, and Chad Ford was on, who recalled a story from the Maui Invitational in 2011, when Cal told him that he didn't recruit Kemba because he didn't think he was going to be any good. So who knows, maybe Kuran commits to UConn and plays with that ' you' edge Calhoun has kind of built his program on.

In a previous job, I used to work with some relatives. A lot of athletic genes in that family.

.-.
Does this kid have an offer from UConn? I hear he does and doesn't.

Pretty sure he's had a UConn offer for awhile. After having his ranking drop for the previous year or so he is flying up the rankings again with his bigtime play this summer. He has an extremely unique skill set for his size, I consider him a top 10 talent in the class.

husky99 I just asked Duffy via twitter and he said he wasn't sure so I asked here.

.-.
According to Zags, UConn, UNC, UK, and others watching Iverson today.

I would just love to see us get a good recruit that UK didn't. That would be a breath of fresh air.

After Sticks, Jamal Coombs-McDaniel, and Daniels, I'm a little hesitant to get overly excited about a 6'8 wing with all-universe athleticism.

Kuran and Khahri aren't best friends lol. Don't know where you heard that from. But Kuran has definitely improved both on and off the court. Wouldn't be surprised if he got a UConn offer came. He's been killing at the camps he's been to lately. As far as where he would be going I have no idea. I never ask him about basketball stuff.

Beaufort has said many times that he wants to play with Iverson in college.

Jamal Coombs-McDaniel & Daniels have all universe athleticism? If anything Jamal Coombs-McDaniel's lack of athleticism is one of his biggest flaws, for comparisons sake Niels is even a better athlete than him.

That's a fair point. But more broadly, the over-sized wing is the type of player JC has been unreasonably enamored with, leading to a lot of hype and generally disappointing results.

Doesn't mean they're best friends. lol. I never saw them hang out before ever. Not even a chat on twitter.

Put Kuran isn't going to be like any of the wings you mentioned. He is talented. He has passing skills and can handle the ball better than any of the 6'8 wing guys you mentioned. He is a playmaker.

Have you played against him? Not questioning you, just wondering

Whatever term you use to describe them, the point is that they play on the same AAU team and they want to play together in college.

Huskywarrior, was under the impression they were best friends, feel like I've read Beufort say that and that he wants to go to the same college. What's the word on Wilson-Frame?

Yes I have played against him. As far as JWF I don't know what's up with him recruiting wise. All I know is that his childhood favorite is Syracuse.
