YES, all over Ferrell and he forced him into that tough fadeaway to effectively end the game. He was masterful defending against the high pick and rolls that IU was running to try to free Ferrell up top.

I want more Kromah and less Omar. Unless Omar is on fire to start the game....

I want more Kromah as well, but imo Omar just can't play in NY it seems, dude presses way too damn much. He'll get his game back once the team goes back home.

Omar struggles against quick guards, and Indiana played three of them tonight.

Loved his D down the stretch. He has been playing on offense like the basketball is a jar of warm sputum he doesn't want to touch, but his D clearly can make him a key weapon late game.

he was a true difference-maker out there tonight. The defense he played on Ferrell was very impressive. He also has a much better handle than our other threes. All three need minutes (player development for next year is an important goal as well) but I agree that Kromah needs more against tougher opponents.

I was really happy to see him in toward the end of the game replacing Boat. At that point in the game we needed a solid defender with some size. Ollie sacrificed Offense (Boat) for Defense and both Kromah and Giff were outstanding over the last 3 minutes. Bazz handled the O and it worked.

Huh? Indiana basically plays 4 forwards & Ferrell. Calhoun was way off. He needs to learn to take shots off the dribble better. When your shot is not falling, you need to try to find other ways to be productive. Calhoun hasn't shown that yet. He's not done that the past 3 games. He's a Sophomore, so there's still a learning curve.

We need offense. Tonight proved it. I've been saying this for awhile. Omar should come off the baseline and work his midrange game, because he's good at it. Work from the inside out.

the only one who is quick is Ferrell, and he wasn't on Omar. Hollowell isn't quick and neither is Eric Gordon's lil bro, he might have appeared so on those drives against Bazz but that was mainly due to the new freedom of movement rules. Omar was just pressing too much, when you're committing double dribbles 30 ft from the basket with a defender giving you space you're entering some real amatuer hour territory. Omar will bounce back.

They were a better defensive team with Giffey and Kromah (outstanding) last night..........and I thought Boat was very good too, less chances taken and some solid on ball D.........

Tyler made a timely take away but God is he awful on moving to the man when help is required, awful! But the kid fought out there tonight so I will give him his due........

Kromah sounds like a good candidate for the Senhor Testiculo award.

I still nominate bazz for SR. testiculo. He played incredibly on offense when no one else was coming close to scoring. If we hadn't already come to expect amazing out of shabazz, then this game would be drowning in shabazz praise. Every game he is met with huge expectations, and every game he exceeds them.

Are u saying kromah cant score??? Watch him on offense. They dont pass him the ball. DD never passes out of the double team when kromah is open, Calhoun fuggetaboutit, Boatright fuggetaboutit, only one is bazz that gives him a shot to score.

I have not noticed this, but would not be surprised if true. Bazz was the only one finding Giffey as well. OC and DD are not good or confident passers and Boat often goes too fast to see well. The passing also seems to have gotten more careful playing against teams playing better defense.

Kromah's offensive game is not as good as people think. I'd rather have Bazz, Boat, Omar, Giffey, etc shooting the ball.

All depends on the game and situation......Kromah is 100X better than Omar on D and also finishes well in transition.......his steal the other night when Indiana was looking to run was potentially the biggest play along with Tylers.......of couese when Omar is shooting the ball well we would like to have him in there but is his offense that much better in which he deserves a lot more time than Kromah? For now I would say no!

Agree, but Kromah can't really shoot it consistently. Yet again, either can DD or Omar!

How many games of his have u seen again???? Had a few 20+ point games against top 25 teams at gw . 6 threes in one half etc. given the chance to consistently play you'll see his offensive game. It is obvious that he gets to the hole with ease. Way better than OC although OC has a nice touch

Last two times I noticed Kromah on offense is when he missed a 3 (the announcer called him Calhoun) and when he didn't take a 3 (and Ollie got in his face). I'm saying we need someone other than Bazz to score, to give us a second option, and because I haven't seen Kromah show that ability yet, I don't know what he can give us.
