In a few games KO will have 10 dudes to play. The Purv debuts on Thursday and Omar probably coming back soon. I see these two guy eating up 30 minutes of game time that was used up last week by others. So who loses game time?

My guess is The Purv gets 20 minutes if he shows some semblance of control. Omar probably gets 10 minutes.

Against Bryant there was some major workloads on Cassell, Jr (30 mins) and DHam (34 mins). Sammy also put up 34 minutes. These guys must be yielding time.

I see game play going forward to closely look like:

DHam – 30 mins
Facey – 20 mins
Brimah – 21 mins
Cassell, Jr – 22 mins
Boat – 35 mins

The Purv – 20 mins
Omar – 10 mins
Samuel – 27 mins
Nolan - 10 mins
Rock – 5 mins

I may be high on the TSam number and high on the Rock.

There will be wide swings from game to game as KO usually plays the hot hand. I se TS playing less minutes than RP and SC. Hopefully AB can play 28-30 minutes but he needs to stay on his feet and stop with these silly fouls.

It will depend upon the opponent and in-game situation. The only things that look certain are that Boat and Brimah will be out there as much as possible. Same - probably - for Hamilton.

Can we all make a pact today. We will not call Rodney "The Purv"

If I had to bet, I'd say Rock doesn't end up seeing the floor much once we're in league play (outside of foul trouble). That being said, if he only sees the floor during foul trouble, he could be in for quite a few minutes with our bigs. I just confused myself. I'm going to go sit down now.

I predict this years minutes will be dominated by 3 people.

1. Ryan Boatright
2. The Hot Hand
3. Most Willing Defender

Almost Right

1. Ryan Boatright(35-40)
2. As Many Minutes as Amida Brimah can play without getting to foul trouble(15-35?)
3. Daniel Hamilton(30-35)

I'm not sure on #3. That would be the ideal, but DHam has looked fatigued as the game progresses. I'm sure he's played those minutes because of a combo of reasons including the need to go small because of the competition and OC's injury. Until he can prove his stamina has improved I expect his minutes to be in the 25-30 range especially when OC is healthy.

Let's go by position
PG Boat 30-35; TS 5-10
SG Jr 20; Purvis 15; TS 5-10
SF DHam 20; Omar 10; Jr/Purvis 10
PF Facey 25; DHam 10; Rock 5
C Brimah 25; Nolan 15

Obviously most of our guards can get away with moving between 1-3, and DHam can play 1-4 so assigning minutes that way may not be best but at face this looks like a sensible, probable divvying

Yes you are. Also, you have only 56 minutes for Brimah/Nolan/Facey/Lubin which means 24 minutes per game for DHam or Omar at the 4. That's unlikely I think unless Facey falls flat.

I just want to see DHam play 35 a game. Boat will get his 35, by necessity. Brimah will get 40-(foul trouble minutes), which looks to be 20-38 minutes a game. Everybody else can fluctuate based on the game, and will have to earn their minutes with unyielding defense and complete effort.

It's a good problem to have.
