6-foot-5 SG/SF from Long Island, currently at Elev8 academy down in Florida. Was a Baylor commit.

Generally ranked about 150 in the country, described as a "sharp shooter" by ESPN.

Wondering if we have interest.

EDIT: It sounds like he reclassified to 2015, and just blew up this weekend.

Here's highlights from the National Prep Showcase this past weekend in New Haven. Sounds like he went off:

St. Thomas More 81 Elev8 71

An undersized but super scrappy STM squad put forth an inspired effort, out-rebounding a bigger Elev-8 49-26 to earn the victory. Christian Vital led the way with 20 points while Ian Gardener (13), Ryan Funk (11), and E.J. Crawford (10) also finished in double figures. Ole Miss bound guard J.T. Oscobar and Baylor bound swingman Kobe Eubanks had 19 and 15 respectively for Elev-8.

Elev-8 85 New Hampton 79

In what was perhaps the best overall game of the day, Elev-8 held on for a narrow win over New Hampton. Kobe Eubanks was tremendous with 37 points including a perfect 13-13 from the free-throw line, many of which came in the last 45 seconds of the game. Caleb Tanner made a variety of big shots and finished with 17 points for Elev-8 as well. John Crosby led four New Hampton players in double figures with 24 (along with a team high 7 rebounds) while Eddie Ekiyor finished with 13, Tyler Lydon 11, and A.J. Turner 10.

he had to reclassify because issues with his transcript blocked him from playing for Baylor in 2014

I'd really like to see us get involved here, but Ollie didn't seem interested in adding players with questionable academics during this past offseason.

Tried searching on the Googler but came up without an answer - is Kobe Devin's (of WVU fame) brother?

He looks like a solid player. We should definitely be recruiting since Hamilton might leave for the NBA after this year if he keeps playing at a high level.

FWIW, I tweeted him that I hope we're involved, he would fit well in our system. He retweeted it...

Kid was quite impressive in the game I saw over the weekend... Actually Elev8 in general was very impressive with the new marshall henderson ole miss commit JT Escobar, Kobe, and Leroy Butts (URI).

Let's pencil him in as our starting SG in 2015 in that case.
Yeah, but what's the point!? After a terrible first three games here, he'll be verbally abused on the Yard as a bust, only to come on strong in the next few games and then be labeled as a sure 1st first rounder, maybe even a lottery pick by the end of his freshman year! ;)

Is he Kevin Eubanks' son? I dont want him if we will have to barely hear him laughing on the under the hoop mic every play

but hoping his academics are in order and he is a sharp shooter and that our recent misses in recruiting can land us a little Jeremy Lamb-ish steal. Let's find some hard working "UConn" guys in the rough now

Let's see - a previously relatively unheralded recruit blows up against some top competition and suddenly gets attention from major schools, fills the hole of the top thing on our recruiting wish list, but has been at a few different schools and has some academic question marks.

Looks like we have ourselves a sequel. Kasongo II (Electric Boogaloo).

(that would probably work better if his name was Kasongoo)
