It's a great Big Ten job that will pay in the millions. And it's close to his Glastonbury home. Just a few hours away. It would really make a statement that Rutgers is serious about getting this thing turned around.

Uh, first, Rutgers is not going to pay any coach millions. Too much red ink in that department. Second, just no.

Why wouldn't KO hold out for the BC job?

I'm actually thinking of taking that job myself. just depends on the benefit package. last i heard, they were hemming and hawing over health insurance.

The cool thing about the BC job is that since no one shows up for BC basketball, KO could continue to coach UConn, and no one would know he was double dipping.

But he might have to show up for the team meals. The players would be looking for that.
