I'd like to think that this year, we can spread some good news, too...

I'll never forget the morning, @ 25 years ago, trying to seatbelt 3 kids into the van (ages 5 down to newborn) & running late for a pediatrician appt. Two LDS missionaries walked up the driveway to hand out literature & ask for a moment to preach. They were surprised when the family German Shepherd jumped out of the van to protect his turf. God has a plan, just not the one that they expected.

I should add a caveat that I've met some amazing Mormons who practice what they preach. Two young men came to my house years ago when I was digging a well and they offered to help me. I declined but they were ready to work while my kids sat on their duffs eating Capn Crunch and watching cartoons. Their missions alone are pretty amazing.

That being said, I hope we find a way to crush them like cockroaches Friday night.
