Agree. She's special. #1 player in her class, and one of the top 5 players in the nation as a sophomore. She's special. Was very disappointed in Stewart tho.

Even on a 5 player team, would seem hard to leave her off.
She is playing superbly and is now so much more than a shooter. I don't think there are many doubters now about her abilities or her deserving All American honors. Conversely, I think we now know there is no All American in Kelly Faris's future. Maybe she is battling a virus or something but her last two games or parts that I've seen don't reflect the Kelly Faris that we've seen earlier. We battled tonight but there was simply too many poor passes that were intercepted for layups the other way. I felt that I was watching a layup drill with Baylor. I would have to say that 90% of their baskets were layups. I think I saw two shots that were from more than six feet away. I did miss a decent amount of the second half but they did not do anything from the outside while I was watching. Unfortunately the interior passing through Griner ate the UConn defense up.

Skylar Diggins? She is leading the #2 Team.
Not this year - she's shooting 43.8%, 34.7% from three and has a mediocre 1.8 assist/turnover ratio.

Diggins is basically living on past reputation and Twitter followers right now.

Not even close. In key moments she's delivering. She is hands down among the 10 best, and would make my top 5.

KML was awesome last night. Unbelievably good at getting position to grab rebounds. Has always been a great shooter.

I would take Diggins over Sims. Sims would not be as good without Griner behind her to prevent people from driving by her. Diggins on the other hand is doing everything for ND.

I think Sims is the superior player to Diggins, but it's close. I think Skylar is a diva and Odyssey plays too rough, so I don't particularly like either.

About 3 weeks ago, I was undecided as to whether Chiney was top 5 for the AP team, but she puts up 26 and 14 often and has 20+ double-doubles. Though she still doesn't have Nneka's shot, she could be the #2 player nationally. She is carrying her team almost as much as EDD is.

I also wasn't sure about Elena, due to missing games and a little bit of a slow start, but she appears to be in form now. I have her top 5.

Griner is #1. She's so big and dominant. And 3,000 points is a lot!

Kaleena is unbelievably efficient in her shooting and was a rebounding machine last night. She plays with Kelly Faris intensity and has a well-rounded game. She's clearly top 5.

So who gets my 5th spot? Skylar's stats have improved from sub-40% shooting and ND keeps rolling, better than most of us thought she would. Begrudgingly, I give it to her.

Neither Gray nor Williams at Duke has been top 5. Alyssa Thomas started slow, but has come on lately. Over the course of the season, maybe not even top 10. Hawkins has tailed off a bit. I had her over Diggins on a non-position based team earlier, but not now. I'm not that impressed with Mathies, Bone, anyone at Cal, et al.

I think Stef belongs on 2nd team with Sims, Hawkins, Maggie Lucas, and 1 other.

Key word = reputation!
