In Altavilla's article today, he noted that Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis is three 3-pointers shy of the UCONN record set by Wendy Davis (107). The NCAA record is 126 set by Lisa McMullen, Alabama St., 1991 (390 attempts) and Sade Logan, Robert Morris, 2008 (300 attempts)
Kaleena averages 3.35 treys per game. When UCONN makes it to the finals, they will have played 7 more games.
If she plays to her average, she will end the season with 127.
So, if Kaleena has a shot at the record, we have a shot at the championship.
