Workers just finished stage one which included moving appliances, sanding to roughen old tile, placing sealant over old tile and grout and placing two coats of leveling compound. Tomorrow sanding leveling compound, application of adhesive and vinyl tile placement. The foyer is small so tiles will have to be split with half at entrance and half at point where hardwood begins. Wasn’t sure if that was possible but it is. Tile continues into kitchen so measurement and placement of tiles has to take both rooms into consideration to avoid having small piece in either room.
