This game was there for the taking and we had control and gave it away. Leaving their only great shooter open for the win is inexcusable and is on Ollie. This loss just kills because we won't have too many more games against ranked opponents and most likely none at home. We've had some pretty good fortune on last second shots in the past few years, we deserved to be on the shortend here, you leave their best shooter open for the win and that's what should happen. Now please tell me Boat is going to be OK?!??

Tough moreso because it was at home. We HAVE to get these victories in our Yard.

The defense should have shifted as soon as Texas lined up the way they did. Texas didn't have a single guy inside the three point line before the ball was inbounded.

Texas deserved to win.
Sam Jr. deserves to be on the end of the bench until Calhoun and Purvis prove that they can't hit an open three.

Terrible loss. No silver lining here. Our conference sucks, really needed this home game. Let's face it, Uconn has not looked all that good in any game so far. Effort was there, just needed better execution.

If Uconn gets waxed by Duke they can probably go undefeated the rest of the season and still not be anymore than a 6 seed.

We needed this win to have any hope of remaining ranked and relevant this year, short of beating Dook and running the table in the AAC.

If before we were talking about a 5-seed expectation and a 2-seed ceiling, now it's more like a 9-seed expectation and a 5-seed ceiling.

20-5 in our remaining games is a must in order to get an at-large bid.

Hamilton has to step out on the shooter when his guy, who is a big, is setting a pick on Boat's guy. I hope Hamilton doesn't need his coach to tell him that.

Yeah I can't believe Ollie told them to leave a shooter wide open. What bad coaching.
Ollie called a timeout to set up the defense and we still get burned on a screen to set up a corner three for easily their best shooter. It was obvious Texas was going to draw something up for Holmes and we failed miserably on defending it, so yes Ollie gets blame on last play.

Outside of that last second meltdown, the defense was pretty good throughout the second half. That loss was a tough pill to swallow, because despite shooting 30% overall and 20% on , they still had the chance to sneak it out with a depleted line-up. The loss probably limits the seed we can end up with, but if the team can develop some other scoring threat to compliment Boat, DHam, and Purvis, they can win these games going forward. Brutal to watch though.

Yeah seriously. DHam just got completely lost on the screen that opened the shooter up. KO was LIVID after the game. Screamed at the team to gtf to the lockers

Hamilton has to own that play. He was supposed to switch.
