Kick the field goal sooner

Can someone tell the old man coaches that when you need a touchdown and a field goal with under a minute, and will require an recovered onside kick to even have a chance, KICK A FIELD GOAL ASAP AND LEAVE AS MUCH TIME AS POSSIBLE ON THE CLOCK!!!!!!! If we kicked it after the roughing the passer penalty, we would have had 40 seconds or so after a recovery and some offense could be run instead of a horribly designed gimmick play that had no chance of working.

I'm totally with you, but this season has drained me of any energy and enthusiasm with which I would complain. bleh.
