Kia's tip pass to Gabby

In a game that Kia scored twenty points in, her best play was when she tipped Stewie's outlet pass to Gabby for a layup. As she crashed to the floor after the tip, the whole bench was on their feet yelling and clapping their appreciation for the hustle. Shea and Marisa were still clapping as the team went back down the floor after the basket.

It was a brilliant play and it embodied even more than hustle. It was the intelligence and athleticism to realize and execute - that was the only net positive play to be made with her defender having a 50/50 shot at disrupting the outlet pass from Stewie.

That was schweeeet! The epitome of a team player. I also liked the play when she stole the ball in the 1st half(can't remember the qtr) went on a two on one fast break with Mo, pretended to use a pull up J near the foul line to draw the defender and hit Mo for an easy deuce. Almost shook Mo out her shoes. All Mo could do was laugh and give her a high five.
