Very mature outlook for a 18 year old........And as Eric said she is very well spoken. Her experience and maturity is going to bode well when UConn gets into a tight game and/or when it gets to the NCAA Tournament.

Whether Nurse comes off the bench or starts will not matter to Team goals. UConn assures itself of having a heady guard/wing on the floor.

Nurse just oozes of confidence and having a winning demeanor. Glad to have her.

Kia has reduced my preseason guard angst. While she may not be the "key to success" I see her having much success at U Conn and kudos to Geno, CD and that pesky blond guard coach what's her name for getting in late on Kia's recruitment and still sealing the deal.

It's these kids that WANT to come to UConn, who recognize that despite being good players, the door is open for them to get better through hard work and an appreciation of the coaches style: Don't sugar coat it, just tell me what to do. I like it.

Kia, and in particular Natalie Butler are great examples of this.

Kiah is still my key(uh) but I sure like what I'm hearing--and seeing--from this "non-frosh." (She's really more like an upperclassman in her demeanor and her level of exp against quality comp.)
