I thought Jalen Adams had the biggest shot of the night in the second half. SMU was on their little run and he calmly and smoothly drilled a 3 pointer. I still think this team is going to be only marginally better than last year, but if they make a run, that shot may be key.
The body language was starting to look ugly as it had in the last few games, but that shot put the lead back up to ten and took the pressure off. To me it looked like a big lift. The guys were running to track down long rebounds again and they seemed to regain a little quickness. The effort went back to what it had been.
I also loved seeing Wilson step up tonight. I just hope his shot starts falling soon.
