Typical long time lurker first time poster. During a quick tailgate in the parking garage across from the stadium yesterday we were approached by a gentlemen and a young man that introduced themselves as Kevin Murphy (2015 defensive line recruit) and his father. Saw our Uconn gear and stopped to say hello.
From the short exchange he came across as a very nice and respectful young man - exactly what I would expect from a Diaco recruit.
For what it is worth they made it clear that the UCONN coaching staff was by far the best they interacted with and were the reason for his commit.
On a lighter note they mentioned that BC coaches told him how great it would be to have a "Kevin Murphy" at BC. Sorry Eagles - he is a Husky!
