Last year we also had 5 top 100 KenPom wins in 31 games. Only 1 on the road, 4 home.
We did not get to 5 such wins in 17, 18, or 19.

Given the weirdness of the year and some of our key injuries (Polley, Akok, Jackson, Bouk), we're pretty lucky that this is a down year for the BE and it's a little easier to survive it. Last year every team was Top 100 KenPom. Georgetown, Butler, St. John's & DePaul are all worse than they were last year, and then that second tier of teams is also worse than it has been.

For sure. You have to win them though. We're 5-1 against top 100 right now (and the one was choke loss).

From '17 through '20 we were 16-51 against top 100 KenPom teams (.313). Averaged 15 a year. We just didn't win them.

While we randomly dropped a spot in KenPom to 22, we are absolutely ROCKETING up the mock brackets.

As stated before, I look at The Bracket Project's Bracket Matrix - 2021 often, as it gives a great picture of consensus.

As of the 11th (pre-Depaul game), we average out to a 7 seed. (Good)
