Spot on. Kemba is a consummate leader and team player. He's also done an almost complete 180 in his play style. His 3 pt shooting is dynamite right now. Really, 3s and distributing have been his biggest role this season. He didn't have that 3 pt shot in Storrs.

Kyrie is an otherwordly talent. His footwork, handle, and finishing make him one of the best. But he doesn't have that intangible locker room factor to lead a team.

Kemba can lead a team of young studs on this Celtics just as he did in 2011. Are they going to win the finals? Probably not, but they will compete with the top few teams in the east. Couldn't say that about a more talented team with Kyrie at the helm last year.

Watching Tatum and Brown develop has been amazing this season. Need to do whatever it takes to keep them for the long haul. Potentially the best wing duo in the league 2 years from now

Watching the interaction and overall teamwork of the Celtics this year is so much better than last year. Kemba has been a great addition and once he gets more court time with everybody, his leadership will only get stronger. Watching this interaction with Brown, Tatum and Haywood has been a real pleasure. In the long run, I believe the team will be better with Kemba as the PG and the unquestioned leader.

And in the short run too. From day one, in fact.

Don't disagree with any of that, just pointing out that Kemba's shooting would have been a lot better a lot sooner in the NBA if he actually had guys to play with in Charlotte.
