Has he had anything done on his knees/legs in the interim? I looked around and couldn't find any articles of a trip to Germany or stem cell research or anything that might help him stay healthy in an NBA game type activity level. Has he had a tune up over the last year? Or is the bet limited minutes?

Mavs are Luka Doncic's vanity project.
Better question is why would a GM sign a player who is injured. They do medical checks before signings usually.

Kemba looked good. That pull-up jumper is as smooth as ever. Here's hoping his knee holds up and he gets a long run in Dallas.

I think it’s more a case of managing expectations.
Sure he’s probably not wrong but to actually say that publicly isn’t right, just tell the media we’ll gauge his progress and evaluate him day to day.
