on 7-8 shooting. Could be his best game as a pro if he finishes strong.

They're playing the Cavs, but Irving is sitting out

This is in 11 minutes, which is pretty amazing ... what is with the fluctuation in play? I thought they announced he would be the starter now?

Augustine returned, so I guess that means Kemba goes back to the bench. 16 points in 11 minutes is very impressive. Also, hint to the Bobcats: If you're 7-48, and your youngest player is hot, maybe don't *king sit him on the bench for ten straight minutes to start the half?

He's played 1 minute in the second half ... and Augustin is falling off. I guess I just don't get it.

My guess is they are not exactly "trying" to win...maybe not too upset if they lose and get more ping pong balls for the lottery

i don't get it either. but Kemba is averaging 27 MPG to Augustine's 29 MPG. it's not really much different. DJ has more assists, but Kemba has more PPG. Kemba also has more boards per game which is stunning at first glance given his size.

The other part of the equation, which I hate to mention, is that in his last couple starts, Kemba shot 6-26 in a winnable game and then shot 2-9. And his turnovers started going up - which is one thing he had been doing consistently well lately.

Small sample size, but he could be at the point where the NBA grind is getting to him and playing a solid 40 minutes is just not in the tank. I look forward to seeing how he comes out the chute next year with a clean slate, but the rest of this year is probably going to be a wide variance from game to game.
