Just an unbelievable 3rd-best-program-in-New-England to riches story. Waiting for ESPN 30 for 30 to cover this one.
 
wow ez pass just got PAID. very nice deal, especially with the cap jump in the future. kyle lowry should fire his agent lol.
 
If MKG can get a decent jumper and Vonleh/Zeller can hold down the PF spot they are the 3rd best team in the east.

I think there's a good chance at the latter happening. Zeller showed flashes, and another offseason of work could get him closer to where he needs to be. He's still young.

The former? That thing is so broke, I don't know what can be done at this stage of his career.
 
Happy for Kemba! He's one of the main reasons why Charlotte turned it around as a franchise. Charlotte is going to be really good in the future if they can keep their young talent together. They just need a veteran perimeter scorer.

Word is that MKG's revamped jumper has been paying dividends in camp and preseason. We'll have to wait and see.

I was just over exaggerating but there has been talks since his freshmen year of him wanting to leave to the nba as soon as possible

It was vamped so poorly in the first place - hard for me to envision a second vamping being that quick and easy (or it would have been done a while ago). He actually had a hitch in his shot where he brought the ball lower at its release point that at his initial apex - it was like an invitation to block it.

But it's certainly possible. Whoever worked with him would certainly be in demand as a shot doctor. It'd would be the equivalent of the first guy to put a baboon heart in a person successfully.
 
Congrats. Well deserved. Miss him, hope he finds some time to make a trip back to Storrs soon.
 
Hard to believe someone could pass through as many levels of ball as he did without someone putting a stop to this

Then why would he transfer to sit out a year and delay that opportunity by at least two years??

With the cap jump in the future, players salaries will be higher and Kemba just got locked into a lower rate. Its a good deal for both parties and I am happy for Kemba but I don't get your logic.

His shot looks much different. It's not perfect but his form looks pretty good. Kudos to Mark Price and MKG.
