Ugh. Like everyone said, just a bummer. I can't recall Kelsey having any other major injuries up to this point. Hopefully, she'll be able to rehab successfully and make her way back next year.

A phrase I've read entirely too much recently is "...given injuries (and/or transfers in the case of college), you can never have enough talent...." In the case of the Aces, signing Danielle Robinson and resigning Lindsay Allen now seems providential to the team. However, they are down to 10 active players on the roster....

Never had an ACL. Never missed a game her entire college career. Had some kind of knee injury Soph year, but Dr. determined it wouldn't get worse so she played thru it.

Had an ankle sprain that caused her to miss a few games her 2nd year in WNBA.

In hindsight, 2020 sucks.

Especially if you're a senior in high school or college.

The Aces are one of the four WNBA teams I follow. You hate to see any player suffer a season ending injury. Her injury will effect the depth and efficiency of the team. smh.... Not a good way to begin the season. :(

Geez, that stinks. She’s always been fun to watch. Achilles injuries are tough to recover from.

Well if you have to have an ACL injury, this is the season to have one.

Well this doesn't have anything to do with her injury, but it's about Plum, so I'll just put it here. I was at the game when the she broke the career scoring record and scored 57 points, and I've rewatched it several times. It was just on Pac 12 Network again recently. I don't know how I never figured this out before, but she had an outburst during the 4th quarter where she scored 17 points in about 4 minutes. That was just insane.

I rewatched Plums first season after the fact and it certainly seemed to be that the defense was focusing on her more than the would a normal player. The players playing her also put in more effort than norma. This sort of helped to account for her really poor first season. I think the players took the pre season hype she was getting a bit personal. The type of pressure they put on her was akin to what they would put on a key veteran teams would normally game plan against.
