She's got the fire, passion and skill to be the leader of this team. To be the cold-blooded one. I hope she takes this loss, puts it in her back pocket, and becomes the poised leader on the court. She's not a 1, but she needs to take over. She's shown flashes of it, and we need it for 6 games in a row.

I disagree. It's gotta be Bria.

I'm a Hartley advocate. She's proven she's cold blooded. She proved it as a Freshman. She's going to turn the ball over, but bottom line is, she's got the skills needed to be our killer. And Geno's just got to trust her.

I think Bria needs another year. She was cold-blooded her freshman year because she had Maya to rely on. She just refuses to take the shot this year.

Right about refusing to take the shot this year. Bria has had a very tough year. Hopefully she - or someone else will step up in the NCAA's and a new UCONN legend will be born.

I think it was the last two foul shots that Bria shot . The first appeared to be a line drive that went in, the second had nice arc to it. Both went in, but it is the same lack of consistency in her shot that appears whether it be three point try or a pull-up. I think the summer can cure that aspect of her game.

It has to be Kaleena, she needs to take ownership of this team, but I think she's still deferring the the upper class men. Next year, this is her team.

Nope.

I am not going back to the box scores and I have not seen all the games but it is clear that the go-to chick is Stefanie Dolson. She has really grown to the player she is and still will improve before she is done here. With 5 to 6 games to go Geno needs to get that rock to her, especially down low. DO NOT rely on here 18 to 21 foot jump shot.

Having said this Stef can't go 40 minutes/game so Stewie and Stokes  need to be there to give her 6 minutes to catch her breath.

Dolson will lead us if Geno gets on board.

Bria has been injured... as is now Kelly. Lets try to remember we do not have nor have we had a healthy team all year.

Kelly will continue to be our warrior (and I hope she begins to take a few more shots in the NCAAs). Lewis, two years behind in experience, and a mentee of Faris, is taking on the warrior mantle already and will be our next leader in that particular aspect of the game, perhaps abetted by Banks and Jefferson, if they get sufficient opportunity. Have a hunch and a hope that Chong will bring that as well.
