I have signed the petition as well to fire Coach P. The university has to realize that keeping him on will cost this university a lot more than buying out his contract. Not only will it cost us in terms of revenue from stadium attendance, if there is another round of conference realignment it will cost us big by being passed over again (Cincinnati will be taken and we will be left out again). Also, GDL needs to go with Coach P. I think Weist should take over as interim Coach and see how he does. If he does well, keep him on as the head coach and if he doesn't start a coaching search next season. This game was terrible.

Based on personel, I also think Kivon Taylor would be the better choice as QB. I know he is young but at least he has the ability to scramble and create more time for himself or take off and run (not to mention he is taller and wont have as many balls batted down as Whitmer). Also, I hope that we get Joe Williams back as I think he can potentially be the best back we have-he has size, and has the speed and elusiveness that McCombs doesn't have (I understand McCombs doesn't get much help but I think Williams is the more talented back). For the most part the play calling was good, but I think it is being restricted a lot by Coach P giving too much input on certain situations as well as personel.

Sometime around the time the team headed in for halftime (and once again P had TO's he could have used to give us a little time to try to score but felt it better to save them for whatever reason) one of the maintenance staff on campus should have been given instructions to change the locks at the football offices. After the game was over Warde should have given P cab fare and told him he isn't allowed on the bus.

I am positive the administration realizes we cannot take anymore of PP.
