Moon and Didi Richardson were injured in a collision at practice today. Didi had a spinal cord injury and is out indefinitely. Moon suffered a concussion.

Horrible news. These, from what I've seen and heard, are two fine young women. The truth is, even though it's a bruised spinal chord and a concussion and could have been worse, that hardly mitigates the pain and discomfort these two young ladies are in now. They deserve our most positive thoughts and prayers for an utter and full recovery as soon as possible. I reiterate, F#$& 2020.

Two young healthy ladies will hopefully recover quickly. Richards SCIWORA diagnosis is scary as hell, because the prognosis involves so much uncertainty relative to the spinal cord. SCIWORA more typically is the result of car accidents.

Always favored defensive players so DI DI was one of my favorites. Spinal injuries are nothing to mess around with. Too many things can go wrong. How it works out for her. For Moon as well.
