Isn't the Heisman presentation right after the Army/Navy game anyway?
Yup... But if he was invited, they had helicopters ready to fly him up from Philly in time for ceremony. He wasn't going to rappel into Times Square tho'
Damn. That coulda been bada$$.
Yup... how cool would that have been.

What a joke. ESPN has no clue. Reynold's stats over his 4 year academic career with Navy, which is not an easy school to get into, are insane and are equal to or better than the 3 year guys who may or may not have taken a class ever. I hope a couple of years from now Reynold's is flying a EA-18G Growler over Bristol and accidentally lights up the plane's full jamming capabilities. ESPN will spend months and millions fixing all of their fried equipment.
Maybe true going forward but it's still bull shot! Say Roger Staubach. Its unlikely that a service academy player will ever have a shot at the award. Should have invited him
"In order to fix our fried equipment, we've decided to take the funds from UConn's TV payout over the next 50 years"
Joe Bellino as well. A Massachusetts guy. Won it in 1960.Maybe true going forward but it's still bull shot! Say Roger Staubach.
