KC mayor to MU: Stay in Big 12

According to the mayor of Kansas City, hosting the Big 12 hoops tourney generates more than $14MM annually. I know that Dallas has hosted the tourney a couple of times in the past, but that would be a big hit to K-City if Mizzou leaves.

Mizzou's issue is the St. Louis half of its alumni base wants to be in Big 10 (or whatever it is now) in the worst way. Hence their indecision. . . .CT not the only ones waiting/hoping for an invite.

Mizzou's only issue is that they don't have the SEC votes. When they get those votes, they will be in the SEC. Until then, they are in the Big 12 until the Big 12 forces them to s*** or get off the pot.
